The Echoes of the Earth pavilion is the latest architectural proposal by the Spanish ceramic firm Decocer for Cersaie 2025, conceived by the renowned architect Héctor Ruiz Velázquez. This immersive and sculptural space redefines the relationship between architecture, material, and emotion, positioning ceramics as the true protagonist.
A material and sensory manifesto
In just 65 m², the pavilion stands as a material manifesto, celebrating the origin and essence of clay. A large ceramic mass unfolds organically, inviting visitors to step into the heart of the material.
The design blends craftsmanship and architecture, demonstrating how ceramics can transcend a purely decorative role to become structure, space, and narrative.

A living architectural ecosystem
The space is structured around three monumental ceramic cylinders, entirely constructed from Decocer’s custom small-format pieces. These volumes evoke tree trunks and symbolize a dialogue between nature and materiality.
Each area of the journey—lobby, pause zone, and exhibition space—offers a distinct perceptual rhythm and a unique sensory experience.

Innovation and sustainability in ceramics
Decocer’s Echoes of the Earth pavilion embodies the four pillars that define the brand’s identity:
- Ceramics as structure, not just cladding.
- Modular and sustainable design, easily dismantled and reusable.
- Immersive tactile experience, allowing visitors to walk on, touch, and inhabit the ceramics.
- Architectural storytelling, transforming the material into a living and emotional language.

Ceramics that communicate
More than a pavilion, Echoes of the Earth is a statement of principles: tradition and contemporaneity, beauty and functionality, sustainability and emotion.
In this space, Decocer’s ceramics become a fully immersive architectural experience, where every surface invites visitors to discover its expressive power.
