Decocer, internationalization award 2019

Yesterday we received the award for internationalisation during the 3rd Edition of the SME of the Year Award in Castellón 2019.

The event, organized by the Cámara de Comercio de España, the Cámara de Comercio de Castellón, Banco Santander and Periódico Mediterráneo, seeks to recognize the work of small and medium-sized enterprises in the province as generators of wealth and employment.

The president of the Chamber of Commerce of Castellón, Dolores Guillamón, stressed that the SMEs "are for us the main reason for concern, the center of our attention as an entity of services that we are. "Our objective is marked by the need to be useful in fields such as internationalization, training and employment, development of innovation, social responsibility and continuous adaptation to new economic models," she added.

For his part, José Luis Valencia, Director of Periódico Mediterráneo, highlighted the "power" that these awards are adopting, because "the support of the Chamber and of Banco Santander is growing". "The majority of the business fabric of Castellón, taking away about twenty companies, is made up of SMEs. Their duty is to digitize so as not to die," he added, adding that the province "is breaking out of the circle of traditional sectors, such as ceramics and oranges.

Santiago Alborch, area director in the province of Banco Santander, congratulated himself on the "success" of this edition, in which the level of nominations "has been very high, so it has not been easy" to choose the winning companies.

Finally, our commercial director, Verónica Obrero, collected the 2019 internationalization award.

Thank you all for the work you do every day. Without you it wouldn't be possible!
