Tactile Surfaces, tactility made ceramics

The new trends in ceramics are characterised by being sealed with design, personality and expressiveness in every space they create. They cast aside purely functional designs, banking more and more on a striking aesthetic that leads the way in the space.

Proof of this is the emerging Tactile Surface trend, which has designs with different volumes and three-dimensional effects on the surface of the tile that looks for the direct interaction with the user's sensoriality.

Another important feature of the Tactile Surface style is that the intrinsic value of the material is increasingly relevant. Decocer works with dynamic and special material textures, which offer a wide versatility of colours and sizes, allowing them to be combined without any complications. We can see a perfect example of this in the City collection, where the reliefs are  accentuated at the edge of the tile.

Small-size ceramics full of contrasts and sensations

It is a daring trend, in which great contrasts stand out: combinations between smooth surfaces and rough finishes, gloss and matt enamels or flat and volumetric shapes.

The basic resources are the geometries, micro-reliefs, volumes and surface textures. Although it should be noted that micro-reliefs will allow for the creation of surfaces full of nuances and detail, which are kind of marked.

The latest productive innovations, like the printing of inks and enamels, are the reason why the reliefs are captured as accurately as possible.

There is clearly a main attraction in this innovative trend, namely: tactility. Detail that the client can see both visually and physically, in a custom-made atmosphere.
